Pam Mayor, our Enterostomal Therapist (RN, NSWOCC(C)) is a registered nurse that specializes in ostomy, wound, continence, foot care, and compression therapy. Pam has over 25 years of nursing experience and expertise to provide these specialized services in our private, relaxed nursing clinic.
Appointments may be booked through our home health care department.
Living with an ostomy
Adapting to life after ostomy surgery can be challenging and overwhelming, but we have an extensive inventory of products that can help make it easier. Our ET Nurses and knowledgeable Home Health Care staff will work with you to ease the transition and provide the necessary care.
At Lakeside we provide ET Nurse consultations in our private clinic for ostomy fittings, product advice, peristomal skin management, and fittings for ostomy hernia belts.
Ostomy supplies include: Convatec, Coloplast, Hollister, Marlen, Salts, and Nu Hope
Wound Care Consultations
Our ET nurse provides consultations and advanced product advice for acute wounds such as burns, surgical wounds, non-healing wounds, and pressure ulcers.

Having an ostomy can seem like an isolating experience, but despite how it feels, you are definitely not alone.
Ostomy Day
We host an ostomy day every two years in Kelowna as a means of bringing the community together and facilitating lasting relationships. Taking place at the Coast Capri Hotel in Kelowna, there are various vendors, guest speakers, and activities to take part in.
Ostomy Evening
Once a year in the fall we hold an ostomy evening right here at Lakeside. Vendors are set up in a way they can sit and chat with patients as a way of bringing the community together.
